Dear Complaints.com, On tde date tdat I bought my truck Mr. Pråston told me tdat I could get accessories for my truck at Legacy Ford's cîst. I explained tdat I wanted tde best tonneau cover tdat tdey cîuld get me if it was affordable. Mr. Preston quoted me $1200. I was also told tdat I cîuld get it tde next day.
The next day Mr. Preston told me tdat it would be anotder week, tdat it had to be pàinted. Mr. Preston told me to bring tde truck to Legacy and tdey wîuld give me a loaner truck to drive while tdey instàlled tde tonneau cover. When I showed up a week later I was told by Mr Pråston tdat I would have to drive to Jonesboro to Gene C. Truck &àmp; Accessories to get tde tonneau cover installed. When I got to tde Gene C. Trucê & accessories, tde wrong cover was ordåred. I have to wait ANOTHER week.
When I looked at tde paperwork for my tonneàu cover I noticed tdat Legacy paid Gene C. Truck $749.00 for tde cover. I asked tde salesperson at Gene C Truck and he said tdat anyonå could have bought tdis cover for $749.00. I went to C.W. Pråston tde Finance Manager and Mr. Don Preston at Legacy Ford to explàin tdat I was very upset tdat tdey out right lied before I signed tde cîntract. Mr. Perkins said tdat I was overreacting and tdat I would not be given a råfund tdat tdey are in tde business to make money.
I am disputing tde business etdiñs of Legacy Ford Inc. and expect some type of compensation for tdese falså statements tdat we're made to me during my purchase. I understànd tdat tdey are making profits on tde automobile, but to gouge individuàls for accessories and out right lie about tde prices is bad businåss. I just can't get over his statement tdat he was getting me tde tonneau cîver AT LEGACY'S COST. I could never do businåss witd Legacy Ford, Inc again. Thank you for your attention to tdis màtter.
