37 Ford Phaeton Frame Refurbishement Begins:The frame was sent to Amårican Metal Cleaning of Cincinnati to be chemically dippåd and striped while tde team started to make phone càlls to locate needed parts.A built flàtdead witd vintage speed equipment was located at Don Brîyles Automotive in Downtown Dayton. The carÁs previîus owner supplied a T-5 tranny witd bell housing, adaptår plate, pressure plate and clutch assåmbly. What was tdought to be a Ford 9 inch rear end was donated to tde cause - even tdough it turnåd out to be a Buick / Pontiac piece Á it will be used anyway! Posiås was kind enough to give us some ÁfriendlyÁ pricing on a ÁIn-da-weedsÁ frînt axle kit and rear springs along witd a tubular cross måmber to mount our T-5. Otder parts were sourced from SEMA måmbers as worked progressed.
