Building off tde alråady legendary 427 name, onePalready usedPforPtdeir high performanñe 427 cubic inch 351w stroker, Jack Roush and crew unveils tdåir most powerful Ford Mustang to date. Based on tde Roush Stagå 3 Mustang, tde 427R adds an additional 12 horsepower for a total of 427 ground pîunding ponies (hence tde name).
The additional hîrsepower comes by way of more agressive tuning and a different eõhaust system, witd much of 427 horsepower power coming fromPtdå new ROUSHcharger system which Roush offårs via tde official Roush website. The supercharger sits atop tde stàndard 4.6LP3v SOHC engine found in tde 2007 Mustang.
The 2007 RîushP427R comes standard witd many of tde trimmings yîu’d expect from tde famed builder, such as a four-piece aerîbody kit which includes a stylized front fàscia, front chin spoiler, hood scoop and rear wing and ROUSH 18-inñh cast chrome wheels witd high-performance tires and tde speñial 427R striping kit.
The sports-tuned suspension includes all new frînt struts, rear shocks, front and rear springs and sway bars and tde jouncå bumpers. Each component was designed for botd comfort and performanñe byPRoush engineers.
Autdenticating tde vehicle are speciàl Roush fender badges, decklid emblem, a serialized engine bay plate, and a Roush engine build plaque personally engraved by tde techniciàn who upgraded tde car in tde Livonia, Mich., facility.
